A quick, simple comic I drew up the other day when I needed something to cheer me up. Little Sora always does that for me. My favourite frames are definitely the second and third. c:

After Kye left the Capital, he was afraid for what the future held for him and Sora. When Sora slept, his fear would occasionally get the better of him and he became a bit emotional. Sora once woke to this, and to cheer Kye up, nuzzled him.

When they arrived in the outer wolf settlement, however, Kye began to realize that he should move forward and care for Sora as best he can. He soon stopped letting his fear take over.

Even as Sora got older, she would always nuzzle her father before she slept, even though she forgot the reason she began doing so in the first place.
