Been meaning to redraw this one for a while. I've been working with light sources lately as they are one of my weak points (along with backgrounds) so this experiment proved to be a big learning curve for me.

The original:


The pose came out a bit static-y for my liking, but I was more focused on the jellyfish and lighting more than anything else. Hopefully the contrast doesn't look odd on other computers- it's probably a bit bright for some screens. xD Hopefully you can see the jellyfish...

If a few people are interested i'll submit the process steps showing how I drew everything (not a tutorial!). c:

Breathtakingly beautiful. It really has magical feel to it. I love all the purple, and how dark the shadows get in the corners. It really suggests a bright light in a dark space.
